What Job Do You Want Charades

Picture Book Extension Activity

“When children pretend, they’re using their imaginations to move beyond the bounds of reality. A stick can be a magic wand. A sock can be a puppet. A small child can be a superhero.” – Fred Rogers

Preschoolers and toddlers love pretending and they love pretending to be their favorite community helpers. We were reading Lola Goes to Work by Marcia Goldman when we inspired to combine two of our favorite things: pretend and playing charades.
